no_more_irp_stack_locations - BSOD
Just yesterday a new laptop running Windows 7 gives us a bsod - no more irp stack locations - and now the laptop can not connect to the file server/ shared files for this individual.
Will it boot into Safe Mode with Networking? If so, can it connect to the file server then?
post the minidump plse; find it in windows\minidumps
You didn't tell us which version of Win7 it is.
Did you already see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906866 ?
That applies to Win7 enterprise.

It's running Windows 7 Professional SP 1 - I did see kb article 906866 in looking for solutions.
I will check for the minidump file as well....
Here is some more information : I did some testing on the pc with the error. I can log in to the domain no problem. The mail is hosted on exchange and my email and calendar are working fine. I have internet access. Everything seems to be working fine....... heres what happens.
In Windows 7 pro...... when logged on to the domain..... if i click on a mapped drive to the server, it gets access to the shared files on the server as expected. If i try to go to "Network" then the domain ....the server...the file.... bam...blue screen. If i go to run, and go to \\serverXXX, to get access to a shared folder that way.....bam....blue screen. But if I just continue to use my mapped drive. I can get access to the shared folder/files.......
