Help with opening web page in separate browser

Hi,

How do you open a webpage in a new browser, the code below replaces the existing browser with a new webpage, but I need to open the new webpage in a different browser.

<script language = "javascript">
       function closepage() {
            location.load("../Update.aspx");
       }
   </script>

Thanks,

Victor

Try like this

<script language = "javascript">
function open_win()
{
window.open("http://www.google.com");
}

</script>
Try:
  window.open('http://www.google.com/', '_blank');
  window.focus();
Like this:

<script language = "javascript">
function closepage() {
  window.open('http://www.google.com/', '_blank');
  window.focus();
}
</script>

Open in new window

or

<script language = "javascript">
function closepage() {
  window.open('http://www.google.com/', '_blank');
  window.focus();
}
</script>

Open in new window

Is there a way to include a vertical scroll bar? the window opens but I don't see the full text.

Thanks.
Try this:

window.open('http://www.experts-exchange.com/','_blank','toolbar=yes, location=yes,directories=yes,status=yes,menubar=yes,scrollbars=yes,copyhistory=yes, resizable=yes');

Open in new window

Hi,

Is there a way to make the browser modal and also remove the URL section? would this work on all types of browsers?

Thank You.
Hi again,

Is there a way to also center the browser on the screen or set it to a certain size?
