OUTLOOK Junk-email folder SPAM

Hello,

I am getting a number of junk-E-Mail emails which included a special statement\ -- see attachment. It states was marked as spam using a junk filter other than the OUTLOOK Junk E-mail filter. I was using AVG 2013 and thought it was the culprit. After removing AVG replacing with MS defender. The amount of emails were reduced from 25 to 5 per day -- all including the same message.

With stock SBS 2011 I specify 2 block list providers. SBS 2011 has no Forefront Security for exchange server anymore. I could install that.

What would you suggest causes these spam identifications --- majority are valid emails, and what would your solution.

Regards,

There is nothing attached, so no idea what the statement is.
Does your email come through a third party service? ISP, firewall etc?

Simon.

Look at the headers of the message that has been received, you do that in Outlook 2010 by opening the message, then clicking on the tiny down arrow next to tags.
See if there is anything in there about spam scoring which could point to what filtered the message.
Have you tried to disable the blacklists? What about the built in antispam filter in Exchange? It is enabled by default in SBS 2011.

Simon.

Hi,

I checked five junk-e-mail messages and all of them ran fine (not failed).

 not designate permitted sender hosts)
X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SCL: 5
X-MS-Exchange-Organization-PCL: 2
X-MS-Exchange-Organization-Antispam-Report:

Just don't understand why a five goes to junk-e-mail --it must be in OUTLOOK that decision is made.
Finally I installed Forefront for exchange to stop the flood of junk-emails! 100% fixed!
