asked on

what is using my port 443

hi all,

background
sbs2003
exchange 2003 sp2
iis 6

something is using port 443 on my server, it is not the default site nor is it any of the other 3 in the websites list.

is there a way I can find out what it is so that I can then release it to allow the default website to use it.

alternatively is there a way to force 443 to be allowed by the default site?

thanks
gareth

443 does not come up in the list, however I can still not use it in the default website as it will 'Stop' the site??
to add, if i try to start the default website the error is "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

thanks

It may not show up as :443 but may show up as :https

Like:
TCP    servername:https
the only one which shows on this is the teamviewer_service.exe , surely this cannot be the issue as Teamviewer is installed all over the world.

If that is the answer I may write a very nasty letter to someone.... grrrrrr Teamviewer.

Just rebooting the server, I will reply asap.
