Try to delete your email profile and recreate your email configuration or, simple solution, close your email client, rename your PST file and open your email app. Since you are configured as IMAP, it's going to synchronize your emails and folders again.

HI itinmind
I have set it up on three different computers and a iphone andwe are getting the same issue
Oh! That's weird... I am using Gmail IMAP with Outlook 2010, ipad 3 and Nexus phone without any trouble. All sync all the time. Did you maybe, unauthorized the devices in Gmail?
Are you receiving emails at the same time on all devices? You may have to contact Google... Sorry, I am now out of ideas to help you...

To unauthorized a device, you need to go to the Gmail security page here: Gmail security and click on Edit on Authorizing applications and sites.

It sure is thats what is very weird
It sounds like the IMAP connection is corrupted, or the local cache has been removed.  Let me check with my ops team ....

Thanks for that i have tried on three computer with outlook 2003 2007 and 2013 same hting
Have you reviewed the IMAP settings in your cPanel?  Any firewall changes?
