asked on

ubuntu hauppauge tv viewer

I can't seem to get my Hauppauge video capture card to work with Ubuntu. I downloaded the latest version ( 12.10 64bit ) of Ubuntu, and it's a Hauppauge wintv hvr-1600. I tried tvtime, and mythtv but neither seems to work. any ideas on what i could try?

So I think this means it works, but does

Current input: 0

mean that there is no signal coming from my cable?
