Simple HTML Question

Hi all,

I would like to format the text in this box so that it is bolded, in italics and underlined. How do I do this?

    <option value="0">Add to the Bubble</option>

Thanks,

Derek

Thank you for the quick response! Sorry, maybe it's a little more complicated as I already have a select tag for more than one line:

<form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="body.php">

<div style="background-image:url(Pictures/new_bubble3.jpg);float:left;no-repeat;width:650px;height:500px;text-align:center;padding-top:65px">
  <p> <br />
  <select id="myOptions" onChange="myFunction()">
    <option value="0">Add to the Bubble</option>
    <option value="1">Add a Thought/Belief</option>
    <option value="2">Add Body Sensations</option>
</select> </p><p>
 <input name="bubble_idea1" type="text" id="bubble_idea1" size="37" style="display: none;">
    <br />
    <br />
    <br />
      <br />
      <br />
      <br />
    <br />
    <br />
    <br />
 <input name="bubble_idea2" type="text" id="bubble_idea2" size="37" style="display: none;">
    <br />
    <br />
    <br />
    <br />
  <input name="bubble_idea3" type="text" id="bubble_idea3" size="37" style="display: none;">
  </p></div>
</form>

I just want the "Add to the Bubble" part with the styling that I mentioned.

Thank you,

Derek

Using Standard Inputs with Canvas. You can superimpose standard HTML inputs—or custom inputs—on the canvas simply by declaring the inputs after the <canvas> tag and using CSS to position the inputs on top of the canvas. Hope it will also work.

In general, you can't. This element is rendered by the OS, not HTML. It cannot be styled via CSS. There are replacement plug-ins that look like a SELECT, but are actually composed from regular HTML elements that CAN be styled.

see : http://www.abeautifulsite.net/blog/2011/01/jquery-selectbox-plugin/
In general, you can't.

Yes you can - www.marcorpsa.com/ee/t180.html

Results vary as explained above but in the dropdown you can style individual options
Add with a bit of javascript you can change the select box to take on whatever style the selected item has.
