Exchange 2007 Public Folders Dismounted Every Morning

The company I work at runs Exchange Server 2007. Users here store everything in Public Folders.  The size of the Public Folders Database is now around 270 Gb.  Every morning when I get on to check the server the Public Folders Database is in a dismounted state. Mounting the database works and all is well for the Outlook users but I need to determine why this daily unmount is occurring.  Any idea where I should be looking and/or a possible solution?

Thanks for that! No db size key set in registry.  Default must be 250 Gb because I noticed an entry in the event log that indicates public folder database has exceeded that limit and that if logical db size greater than maximum size limit it will be dismounted on a regular basis.  I suspect that there are a ton of duplicate files in the Public Folders which if removed would significantly decrease the db size.  Any suggestion on whether I should just create a key with a larger value or find some sort of tool to delete all the duplicate files from the Public Folders database? If I go with the registry key - would I need to reboot the Exchange server for the key to be read?

Standard.

I will create the key and reboot the server out of hours. Thanks for the assistance.
