Word to PDF troubles

Converting Word to PDF. I did not author the file. There are a few pages that display in landscape orientation when in Word, but after the conversion they are squeezed into portrait orientation. What can be done? I just want a conversion with no distortion.

word to PDF, I use CutePDF writer, it's free and no distortions
With Adobe Acrobat you can rotate the document or pages within the document. See this article below.

During the conversion, the landcape Word page is squeezed/compressed to fit the width of a portrait page in PDF. Rotating it at that point does no good.
If the PDF was originally damaged, it would have to be re-created.

You could attempt to make a high quality scan and re-make the document, but it might be easier to get the document re-created at source.

there is nothing wrong with the source Word file
In Word, a document is either all portrait or all landscape. You need to add section breaks in Word to make part of it landscape. See below:

Does the word document have section breaks, or is the landscape page an image?
