ip route question on static routes

Hi all,

In my lab it's saying that i should configure the following static route on the ISP router:          ip route 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1

I don't understand the subnet mask though wouldn't it be 0.0.255.255 ?

Here's a screen shot of my lab and the rest of the router configuration.
int loopback0
ip address 200.200.200.1 255.255.255.0
int ser0/0/0
ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0
no shut
exit
ip route 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1

thanks,
R
