HP DL380 G5 ILO2 event 1111 became unresponsive

Hello,
on a server farm I have eight HP DL 380 with windows 2003 sp2 with ILO2 configured and wired since 2007 without particular issues.

Now three of servers are suffering ILO2 became unresponsive with event id 1111 source Server Agents.

This issue, seems strange, has started after installed a server that nightly scans for security vulnerabilities.

Now the first question is: can an security scanner impact on system hardware such as ILO2 interfaces ? Upgrading the firmware can fix the issue ? Why not all servers has been affected ?

The event 1111 has appears few minutes after security scanning.
The scanner is Tenable Nessus.

Any feedback is really appreciated.
Thank you very much

Thanks to All for your answers which pointed me in the right way.

One of the server affected by ILo2 issues has been under investigation and, as link provided by rickhobbs, power off and unplug the power cables and restart, ILo2 back to normal.

Bytheway we will upgrade the firmware as showed the link by breadtan.

And finally the root cause most probably is the Tenable Nessus; issues happened after installation of this server and events appears after end of nighly scan, and issue never seen in the past years without Nessus.

Thanks a lot.
