Certificate name for Unified Messaging servers for Exchange 2010

Hi,

Hopefully a simple question. Do we need a public certificate for our unified messaging server(s) in exchange 2010 and if so, what name do we put on the certificate?

For example:

We have a CAS/HT server, a mailbox server and a Unified messaging server - 3 servers in total.

Our internal domian is domain.local, but I really don't want to put local server names on the Exchange certificate at all if we can help it

Thanks,

We are upgrading from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010, how can I determine if TLS for UM is currently in use?
