Repeating sections only work for Infopath Forms in a Form Library, not for Infopath forms based on Lists and standard Libraries. What type of List are you working with?

btw I did a guide on how to add repeating sections to Infopath forms recently which you can find here;

thank you for the reply, i dont know if its best way to use repeating table, if there are another way, please help, i created a custom list including a field called [Start Date] i need whenever the user edit the list and change the date it will add it to a history field, for example this is what going to be shown in the list:

Title         Start Date      History
----------------------------------------------
item1       30/2/2012   1/1/2012
                                         10/1/2012
                                         30/2/2012

item2       2/2/2012     11/12/2011
                                         2/2/2012
----------------------------------------------

One other alternative is to add a Data COnnection on the form "From Web Service" to the SharePoint Versions Web Service;

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms772545(v=office.12).aspx

This would allow you to bind a call to the GetVersions() web method and display that on your form.
thank you all for the help, one more question how can i disable the restore option in Version page in the list? because i don't want users with contribute permission to restore or delete the versions
