how to print from a pc to a photocopier

hi there. In our school we have a konica minolta bizhub 601 copier and we would like to print from a pc to the copier??? is there a way to do this??? My friend told me that it should be able to print using a normal printer cable and it suppose to have a port in the copier???

anyone know if this is possible and do you know where the port is????

A normal printer cable would now be a USB port. There may be a network port but that really depends on if it's plugged in and what it's plugged into.

Also you will probably need drivers in order to engage the printer.

Your printer has both USB and ethernet ports.

Read The Manual - http://kmbs.konicaminolta.us/wps/portal/web/home/products/office-systems/bw-mfps/bizhub-601

The port on your pic is HOST port for USB drives ... not for PC connection

ok so i need a usb cable that has usb on both sides and not a normal printer cable????
You should be able to use a regular USB cable.  one with the regular USB that you plug into your computer and the printer end which is more square.

Also if you have an ethernet port on the printer/copier you can set this up as a network printer.

You would NOT plug the cable into the port that is shown in the picture above.

Where you would make your connections are going to be on the back of the machine.

Look on the back of the machine and tell us what connections you have available...USB, Ethernet, and/or Parallel.
where would i be plugging in the printer cable in the copier??? do you know where the square port is????
Look on the back of the machine and tell us what connections you have available...USB, Ethernet, and/or Parallel.    I know the ethernet port is on the back of the machine. Look there.
Whoops... wrong pic..
