OS X Lion "password expiration" message on log in screen

I work for an university and for mac users often see this when their Active Directory password is about to expire (Yes, we bind all macs to AD). Is there a way for me to custom the messages (See image below) to tell clients to reset their password via our university's web based password self-service -- Because there are no AD Self Service program available for mac platform (see here: http://www.manageengine.com/products/self-service-password/index.html)

Or- I want to set up macs to be like Window's self-service-password where client can update their AD password right by the log in screen that will reset user's AD password instead of local user password. I tried to look for 3rd party software for macs. no luck so far.

I tried to look around HD/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist
and
HD/System/Library/CoreServices/

And couldn't find anything related to the dialog message where I can modify the message in it.
Hope you can help me out ASAP. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Unless, I missed something here.

Thanks!
-Matt

Hi Matt,

I think that pages 6,7,8,and the top of 9 will help you. Here is the link: http://training.apple.com/pdf/wp_integrating_active_directory.pdf

Hope this helps.

dsconfigad is a useful command for a multi-platform guy.
