splitting data in a textbox from "xxxxxxx" to "xx xxxx x"

Hi all, I am trying to write an expression in a text box that has =First(Fields!Account.value, "Rpt_info") with data looking like this "XXXXXXX". I need to make the data look like this "XX XXXX X" with 2 spaces in it. I have tried
=Format(First(Fields!Account.value,"Rpt info"), "XX XXXX X")  Thanks in advance.

Typo:

left(mycol, 2) + substring(mycol, 3, 4) + right(mycol, 1) as mycol

I can do that, I didn't really want to alter the dataset, because it was generated by the erp company which pulls off a stored procedure, which in the stored procedure calls a view that is 9 pages of select statements...Blah! lol. Thanks guys.

If anyone can think of a way that this can be done using expressions in ssrs. I would still be interested in knowing! Thanks
