IIS 6 Wildcard SSL Certificate

I purchased a wildcard SSL certificate to install on a Windows 2003 Server STD SP2 running IIS 6.0.  I was able to install the wildcard certificate successfully via the MMC/Certificates Add-in and attach it to the website.  I modified the host header for the SSL to respond using the adsutil.vbs command (see below example) but was unable to get it to respond to the request in the end.

I know the IIS 6 supports wildcard certificates and that I can have a site respond to multiple host headers using the same IP address but I get nothing.   What is missing???

C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts>cscript.exe adsutil.vbs set /w3svc/1/SecureBindings "192.168.0.1:443:testsite.mydomain.com"

for testing I usually edit my hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) and put in the domain name this way I can use my browser to test the host headers as http://127.0.0.1 or any other variation of this will not work. i.e.
127.0.0.1 testsite.mydomain.com

ASKER

Yes,  actually that is how I'm able to test various host headers and URLs.  I use that method all the time.

However, the problem I'm having is to do with the wildcard SSL certificate.  It seems to be installed fine on the server.   But I just can't seem to get it to respond based on the URL I'm using over SSL.
