Sharepoint 2010 - Need Disaster Recovery Plan - SQL Log Shipping

I need to do a DR test.  I need to demonstrate that failover will occur to another site data centre.

What I have is a live farm, 2 x WFE Server Load Balanced, 1 x Application Server and 1 x SQL Server 2008 Cluster , in Data Centre A.

In DR Data Centre B, I have fewer servers. 1 x WFE, 1x Application Server and 1x SQL Server.

Note - We also have a SAN Storage Layer by way of a provided Service to store all databases and content.

What I need to know is how do I create a warm/hot (not sure which term is correct) standby SharePoint environment? And document it. NOTE - We have decided to use SQL Log Shipping to do async replication of SQL.

The DR test will likely be a complete turn off of site A and turning everything on Site B (DR Data Centre)

Does anyone have outline DR Test Plan Document that I can adapt for my requirement?

Please ask for clarification if you like. Thanks in advance.

Hello both. Thanks for your contributions. Sorry for the delayed response..

As I am new to SharePoint 2010, can I ask for some clarification on couple of areas.

Can I get a Powershell script that is re-usable in some form? To keep the Config DB entries up to date?

What about other kinds of Sharepoint re-pointing or network re-pointing? e.g. DNS level?
I believe you can amend the IP address of live server to point to the DR server at DNS level. Or DNS alias?

Are regressing back to the Live after DR test is done?

(Apologies if this is documented in the links above but being new to this it doesn't jump out)
Did you manage to get an answer for your query?
