Simple dockable notepad

Hi,

I have a bad habit of opening a Windows Notepad each time I make a note of something. It get's messy after a while.
As I have three monitors, I instead want to have an application that nicely docks on the e.g. right hand side on my 3rd screen with quite easy features.

Microsoft Onenote's docking capabilities are not that good, and does not support multiple monitors.

Key-features:
- Simple
- Format-buttons for bold, italic and underline (prefered)
- Dockable (even on multiple monitors)

Thank you!

When I think of docking, I think of moving certain utilities that are used within a program to another location within that program. But when I read this, I somehow think you are asking for something different. Do you mean a notepad with "Tabs."

Also, here is an article I think you may find useful.

PhoenixUnlimited,
When I talk about docking, I'm refering to the posibilies to lock the application in a specific location of the monitor. E.g. I want the application always to be on the 3rd monitor, to the right, and always visible. It would be good if the application has tabs, but that's not a requirement. The requirement is to have a an application always visble at top and with true docking function.

Idle_Mind,
Sorry, but Notepad++ does not support this. It's only support docking of windows inside that application to different areas of the application iself. I'm trying to find a application that docks the application to the Windows Desktop.

FireRunt,
I'm trying AkeIpad. Thank you.

I'm not sure it will do everything you want, but take a look at Metapad:

It has persistent window placement, customizable font support, an always-on-top option, and lots more. Regards, Joe
