How to stop Exchange 2007 public folder update replication e-mails to old Exchange 2003 server?

I have a 2007 server that is still trying to send public folder updates to an old exchange 2003 server that has been transitioned to 2010. Where do I go in 2007 to stop these?

There are two types of replication

Public Folder Hierarchy Replication - this won't stop at all for you.
Public Folder Content Replication - this would stop only if you remove replicas from Public folder of those that belong to Exchange 2003.

Hierarchy replication can only be stopped if you remove Exchange 2003 from PF Tree in ADSIEIDT.

That's your only bet.

Let me know if you can work with ADSIEDIT, if yes then let me know if E2003 server still exists.

I can work with ADSIEDIT and the 2003 server exists, but no longer has Exchange running on it.

The queue on the 2007 server just keeps queueing the updates, so I will check it and it has 200 e-mails just sitting in queue with nowhere to send them to.

Where is the public store information located in ADSI? Under Services/Exchange/Domain?

The old exchange server mail store information is still in ADSI, should I remove all of that as well?

Found it - under domain\services\microsoft exchange\ administrative groups\servers\MAILSERVER\Public Folder Database.

Cleared the msExchPFOwningTree value and cleared the queue and no more mails.

Thanks for the help!
