htaccess issue

I have the following code and it is adding #.UJ0es4UWE_M to the end of the url and not loading the whole page.

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteRule ^share/([A-Za-z0-9-]+)/([A-Za-z0-9-]+)/?$ /index.php?b=$1&s=$2 [L]

Any idea what is wrong?

Sounds like a hack / malfunction?  Can you show us a URL so we can see this in action?

Please excuse the content of the website.
#.UJ0oEWcS98E is a variant of the appendage, as is #.UJ0ocWcS98E and #.UJ0pQ2cS98E.  It looks a lot like a server-generated random unique ID.

It also looks like there may be a header() statement somewhere in the PHP code that is redirecting the browser.

Well it is just a one page html doc, there are no header redirects.

It is very strange, I remember reading about it somewhere but dont remember the answer.

Could it be a permissions error?
what is weird is if I just do, it adds that crap to the end
Yes, if you address it directly, but try clicking the "Join Mailing List"
Hello Ray,

Any ideas?

I do have jquery running on it but I am not sure that would have anything to do with it.

Okay, thank you Ray
Thanks for the points, but I didn't really do anything to help.  Hope you can get an answer from one of our other colleagues! ~Ray
In case you ever come across that issue where there is stuff at the end of your URL
