Redirection of queued mail

Running Exchange 2010 latest SP and updates on a 2008 server
One users mailbox has been corrupted, as a workaround have set him up a new account and redirected his old email address to the new. This has sorted the immediate problem, in other words he is able to communicate again.
However since the problem began 08/11/2012 (yesterday) there are approx 61 emails in the queue waiting to be submitted to the old mailbox. Is there anyway I can direct them to the new email address. I don't want to loose them if it can be helped

You can try the solution as given by Rancy above...I also suggest to add custom X500 connector with old legacy exchange dn value. As user running outlook with cached mode will get the mail delivery failure to this users, as outlook uses legacyexchangedn value to send the email....

You can get this value, from a bounced back message.

I guess what Amitkulshrestha means is add the X500 to users email address as Custom email address so no bounce back issues are faced.

Also what are your plans of moving the current email across and deleting the old mailbox all together ?

Regards
