Windows 8 - Hyper-V virtual machine

When I go to create a new virtual machine on Windows 8, I am getting an error that says:

Failed to create the virtual hard disk.

The system failed to create 'C:\Virtuals\Virtual Hard Disks\Windows 8.vhdx'.

The Hyper-V is feature is enabled  in Windows Feature and also in the Bios.  Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hi.

I've read about this on other forums as well and with those people, it sometimes worked, sometimes not - they could repeat that very action and the second or 3rd time it worked. Please retry.

Finally figured it out.  It had to do with some permissions on the admin side.  Thank you expert's for providing some insight.

Dear countyprob.

For other's to benefit from this (now archived) question, it would be kind of you, to illustrate your solution at least that much that others can guess what you are talking about.

is rather inexpressive.

PS: selecting your own answer as solution is possible, too.
