HTML Email Not Rendering Well in Outlook

I am trying to send an email via cdo sys and it works well but it does not render nearly as well in outlook as it does in gmail, for instance.  See attachment.  I know that html emails can render well in outlook because I get experts exchange emails that way.  Any ideas?

COBOLdinosaur, I understand that there is an issue with rendering if someone has their client set up to receive plain text although I am a little surprised at the concern beyond that in terms of blocking/spam/blacklisting.  As I said, I get html emails from experts exchange.  I can't believe they would send it that way if recipients could just choose to blacklist someone based on that alone.  Please note that these emails are sent with a subject line that makes it clear not only who the email is from, but that it has information that they want.  If I am missing something beyond that please fill me in.

I was aware of the need for inline and internal styles but I did not think about the table-based approach.

Thanks for all of your help!!
If the user on your mailing list wants what you are sending them then they will, of course, not blacklist you.  I was just pointing out that you have no control of what happens with any email once it leaves your server, and the fact that it does not get bounced back does not necessarily mean that the intended user is reading it, or seing it the way you intend it to be presented.

Thanks!!  I appreciate the followup!!!
