Run Registry Editor (RegEdit).
Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

In the right pane, double click on DontDisplayLastName registry key value, and set its value data to 1.
Is this Windows 8 Pro. If it is and on a domain, Windows Key + Power is supposed to give you Ctrl-Alt-Del.  I have not tried Windows 8 Pro on a domain yet. I have Windows 8 Pro and have not been able to prevent display of last user name.

Hi.

I don't see your problem. Take the same policies as for win 7, what do you mean "not working"? Did you confirm that the policy applied using rsop.msc at the client?
Can someone give me a link with a tutorial how to create a GPO on Windows 2008 to force CTRL+AL+DEL and remove last user name ?
Thanks guys !
