Add Content AFTER div style OVERFLOW

I am using the DIV STYLE OVERFLOW for a table:

Response.Write "<div style='OVERFLOW:auto; HEIGHT:400px; position:absolute;top:232px;width:1225px'>"

Table and data are displaying correctly.

I have coded the </table> and </div>. I now want to add content AFTER the end of the table. My content is displaying in the middle of the table. How do I code to make the content appear AFTER the table?

One line of code doesn't tell us anything.

I am new to EE.

The code is a simple table with a static header and table data which scrolls. Once the data in the table is complete, I end it with </table> and </div>. I then want to add more content but it is posting over the content of the table.

The content I want to display at the end of the table begins with "Following is a list of problems:"

do not use overflow:visible if you need to use the after pseudo-element on an element that is outside of the overflown data. the browser does exactly what you instruct it to do. it should be easy to see the browser's decision by adding a border to your div.

then i cannot tell you how to solve the problem without knowing what you are trying to avhieve nor seeing your code
A link to your page would be much more helpful than the source that generates it.  Without that, we can't tell how the elements on your page are interacting to cause your problem.
it looks like the first table is not closed. even if you want the div and second table to be in the first, you have to put them in a cell. your first td and second tr are not closed either

you use absolute positionning at places you should not (ex: table rows).

first step should be to write valid html, second is to remove css properties that do not have a clear purpoise
I am attaching my code.
You cannot view the page, it is behind a firewall.
I am attaching a copy of the page so you can see the problem.

confirmed
The first table is closed in the line above:

Response.Write "<div style='OVERFLOW:auto; HEIGHT:400px; position:absolute;top:192px;width:575px'>"

I closed the 1st <td> in the 2nd table.

I cannot provide the link to the display, it is behind a firewall.
I want the headers to be static so as the data scrolls, the user will be able to know what data is related to which header.

I don't know why you feel by code is invalid.
