Office 2010

i have xp machine and i was trying to upgrade office 2003 to office 2010. In the midst of the installation it gave me message that i am running out of disk space and i need to clear some files to proceed with installation. I clicked on cancel and it was rolling back. In midst of the rolling back electricity went off. Now whenever i start the computer CPU usage is alwasy 100%.

See if you can perform a system restore to an earlier date. Then free some space and start the upgrade again.
You could also Boot to Safe Mode, whatever is pegging the CPU shouldnt be running at that point. That would allow you to "Uninstall" Office 2010 or at least see what is going on.

Alternatively you can follow sfosupport's comment and try System Restore. The Office installation may have triggered a Restore Point (Even if you didnt specifically create one)
