how to set httphandler path or use a wildcard in the path attribute in web.config

how to set httphandler path or use a wildcard in the path in web.config when you want to intercept any pdf file request present at any level of directory inside a given directory e.g. the pdf files can be present at any level of calderdale directory

c:/calderdale/subfolder1/somefile.pdf
c:/calderdale/subfolder1/subfolder2/somefile2.pdf
c:/calderdale/subfolder1/subfolder2/subfolder3/somefile3.pdf

the pdf files I want to intercept are present inside any directory or sub directory of a directory called "calderdale"

I need to run my web app on IIS 6

I m trying something like this but not working
<httpHandlers>
<add verb="*" path="/calderdale/*.*/*.pdf" type="NES.HiLo.Security.CalderDaleAuthenticationHandler, NES.HiLo.Security" />

</httpHandlers>

thanks,
Mehtab

You would wire the module up in web.config like this...

	<system.web>
		<httpModules>
			<add type="checkData" name="checkData" />
		</httpModules>
	</system.web>
