Cisco 2960s stacking vs etherchannel

hi,

we in the process of setting up 2x cisco 2960s switches for iscsi network connected to a single EqualLogic SAN.

Usually we just take 2 or 4 ports and just etherchannel them together.

Wondering if its ok setup, so far it has been working fine, but it may not be best performance of what is possible to get from that config?

So if we do etherchannel we will go with C2960S-48TS-S
And for FlexStack we would need to go with: S-C2960S-48TS-L

Any suggestions?

Flexstack is a 10 GB, full-duplex link, so I'd tend to go with that rather than etherchannel.
Isn't Flexstack 40Gb?
Also, if you have more than 2 switches, etherchannels start to take up a lot of ports and add latency.
I was going off of this document: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/qa_c67-577519.pdf

Page 11, it talks about Flexstack being 10 GB full duplex.
