AD Restriction for user on SBS 2003 network.

Hi All,

I have a user (Home user) that is going to log onto a pc at work using logmein but we want to restrict his access to just using Outlook on the pc, we dont want him to have access to any of the server folders. We dont want to run OWA we just want him to use the remote pc for Outlook emails.
all domain users have access to the server folders & at the moment this home user has domain user access. whats the best & quickest way to restrict him to the desktop only?

Easist way (inbuilt) is to give him access to the RWW /OWA only.
He won't have access to files only websites you allow hin access to.
Permissions for user are set in console.

Hope that helps,

Rob is correct: Set up his outlook access over the internet on his home machine.
RPC over http(s). As long as he has internet access he will be able to get to emails.
Logmein....very difficult to control.
Thanks but its an old sbs 2003 with no ssl certificate?
You don't need an SSL or self-signed certificate for Outlook Anywhere/ Via the Internet with SBS 2003.
