Windows datacenter version.  The cluster is installed. I have done this before and never ran into this issue.
If everything was fine on the Active server then why not ... remove the additional servers one at a time and readd in DAG and work.

Done that, no good.
I just want to clarify something so this could you to help me.  These 2 servers that I would like to setup a DAG are in different network.  One located in the office and the other is located in EC2 Amazon cloud.  So, I have feeling this has something to do with some port that I need to open in the firewall.  What is the there a range of port numbers I need to open the firewall to?

Thanks
One located in the office and the other is located in EC2 Amazon cloud - Wow not sure if i have seen a DAG with Cloud possible :(

DAG works on a heartbeat as well that only internal and to allow that on Firewall .... might be like opening the doors and saying hey anyone can come in.

I think I know what the problem could be.  One of my servers is Exchange 2008 R2 Enterprise and the other on is Windows DataCenter version 2008.  I am reading some blogs that says you cannot setup DAG between these two because they have to be the same version, either both need to be Datacenter or Enterprise.

Let me know if that is true.

Thanks
