asked on

j2ee mvc login form.

MDear Experts,

for school i'm asked to build a login form using the mvc model with j2ee. I've tried to search on the internet for a good example but can't find one. Does someone have a good example for me on how to do this. I have made a MySql database with a username and password.

Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry to forget to mention that i have to use hibernate and cannot use spring:( thanks for your effort. Stupid of me to forget to mention that. I;m sorry!!
Why can you not use spring?  Is that what your teacher said?  Spring is one of the two main java MVC frameworks.  Hibernate however is defined in this link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hibernate_(Java).  So with that being said, you can use spring unless otherwise specified in your instructions by your professor and hibernate to do the ORM type mapping to your database.  Here are some more links for the hibernate part of this:

MVC is one of the requirements;)
Since MVC in one of the requirements then use the spring framework and include hibernate to do your ORM stuff.  They work fine together and complement each other nicely.
