Access runtime crash on Shell command (Windows 7)

I have an access ap the runs this on open: -

Shell "\\MyServer\Share\MyProgram.exe", 1

This works for everyone else but one user (using Access Runtime 2007) who gets a runtime error.

If I navigate to the file using Win Explorer and double-click it runs fine.

The user is in the Administrators group on the Laptop.

If I log on as Administrator the Access app runs OK and I get no error. Does anyone know what's going on?

Will let you know...

Access 2010 runtime crashes, will now try removing from domain and adding back in. Can't do this until Thursday though as user wants laptop back!
Why would you test with Runtime 2010, when the user is using Runtime 2007? It's important to emulate the user environment as closely as possible.

You can simulate the runtime on your machine by saving the file with the ".accdr" extension, and running that. This tells Access to use Runtime mode. You might be able to determine what's wrong from there.

You wrote this:

"If I log on as Administrator the Access app runs OK and I get no error. "

Do you mean if you log in as Admin on the USER LAPTOP, it runs on that machine? Or do you mean something else? You must do these tests on the problem machine, not your own.
