Exchange 2007 not working after power failure

Hi,

I have an issue with exchange 2007.

We have had a power cord failure on our Exchange Server, which mean't the server just lost power and turned off. It has reebooted but neither the IMAP clients of local Outlook clients can access there emails, If you open OWA and login it then hangs trying to display the emails in the inbox.

I have looked at the services and all appear to be running but I think its a Information Store issue so i tried restarting that but it didn't stop correctly and is now in limbo trying to stop.

Can anyone help me to restart the infomation store & to check to see if the database is mounted correctly.

Many thanks

Hi thanks for your responce, is doing this likely to makethe siuation worse?

I have inbound and outbound mail backing up in the mail queues and I have done a analysed the ques but it all came back ok?

All users have a local copy of the Mailbox, can I just recreate a new Storage group database.edb and move everyone over & transfer up the email from a pst file?
