Cannot connect to SSL website using VPN via ISA 2006 server

Whilst users are connected to VPN, provided by ISA 2006 server, they are unable to connect to https://login.salesforce.com

Using Fiddler web debugger on a laptop connected to the VPN, it times out and then reports "The socket connection to login.salesforce.com failed. Error code: 10060"

On the VPN properties, netowrk config--> advanced... did you disabled "use default gateway on the remote computer"  ?
Hi,
The use default gateway on remote is enabled, we need the traffic to go through the ISA 2006 and Message Labs proxy server.

Proxy script had exceptions for salesforce, removing these worked.
