Cd& - Here is the link....http://www.a1telecoms.co.za/services.html

I want it to move to the right hand side and not on the left.

Thanks
In the stylesheet rokajaxsearch-theme.css
  Change:
    #roksearch_search_str {background: #fff url(search-icon.png) 98% 50% no-repeat;border: 1px solid #dfdfdf;}

To:
#roksearch_search_str {background: #fff url(search-icon.png) 98% 50% no-repeat;border: 1px solid #dfdfdf;text-align:right;}

Okay great and where do i find the rokajaxsearch-theme.css?
On your site.  It is a file you are loading from your web space.  The address showing in the page is: "/modules/mod_rokajaxsearch/themes/light/rokajaxsearch-theme.css"

Cd&
It gives it to me as a download txt - How do i then make those changes?
It is a text file.  Save it and open it in a text editor. Make the change, and upload it back to your web space.

Cd&
I found the text file on the server - how do i edit it and return it into webspace?
Please respond soonest......Thanks
Just upload it using the file manager on your server.

Cd&
Do you want the entire /public_html ?
I don't want anything.  You just need to put the updated version of the file back up on the server.  I assume you already have done the change.

Are you not familiar enough with your server environment to move files around and edit them?

If not you need to spend some time learning the basics.  Most hosts have online tutorials for the utilities they supply.  This is the kind of thing that should takes less than 5 minutes even for a novice.

Ooops - pls ignore this post... "
Do you want the entire /public_html ?"
Change has been made to:
/modules/mod_rokajaxsearch/themes/light/rokajaxsearch-theme.css"
as per above - but position remains.

Okay in that same file right before the line we changed add this line:
#roksearch-wrapper {text-align:right;}

And in the line we changed take the text-align:right back out.

Was targeting the wrong element.

Hi

The code that you gave me yesterday worked but it has somehow lost the settings today - why is that so because the search function is back on the other side....
It is showing on the right side on my computer.  You must be getting an old version of the stylesheet from cache.  Try clearing your cache.

The funny thing is that when using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox - the search works well and is on the right side - but when using google chrome - the search panel is on the left - which is the wrong side. Why is that?
Well I see this webkit (chrome) reference, and there is probably other hacked references in that excessive pile of CSS and js files, that results in chrome specific dynamic modifications.

When you pile that much junk on a page you almost always get conflicts, incompatibilies and cross-browser issue.  It is the big flaw in jquery.

About all you can do is remove css and/or js files one at a time until you find the one causing the problem.

Cd&
How do i clear the cache?
Clearing it in Chrome is a PITA.  This page has instructions: http://www.guidingtech.com/1662/clearing-cache-in-google-chrome/
