Don't see sheets on xlsx file

I was given an Excel XLSX file.  Whehn I open it I don't see the familiar tabs for each of the worksheets in the file.   It appears to have just the one worksheet.  I'm thinking that somehow the showing of the tabbed worksheets is turned off but I don't know how to turn it back on.   Any ideas?

You can customize the ribbon with specific XML tags.  

This will hide the ribbon tabs.

<ribbon startFromScratch="true">


You can also hit CTRL+F1 to toggle it on and off

The other sheets are probably hidden. Right click on the visible worksheet name and choose 'unhide...'.
