ODBC Connection from IBM System i to Microsoft SQL 2008 R2
We need to make an ODBC connection from an IBM System i to a remote Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 database. I am having problems finding any documentation on connection setup for this on the i Series side.

Those seem to the the only kind of articles I can find. I need to make the connection from the i Series side though to perform and insert/update and most of the articles talk about connecting from the MSSQL side.
Ok...you could use a IBM ODBC driver (like below) to create a DSN data source to your SQL and run it from there if that's what you want:
