How do I turn off Security Auditing in 2008 R2

I have a program that keeps getting errors that files are unavailable because a program is accessing them.  So I want to turn off security audit to eliminate it as a possibility.  How?

Go into the security tab/advanced and look for auditing and you can turn it off if it is on.

You might also want to look into some of the Microsoft sysinternals tools like process explorer

Thanks

turning off security auditing will not fix your problem. it is somewhere else.

ASKER

I agree it is probably not Security, but I need to eliminate all possibilities
There is no Advanced tab and the the main properties window the Enable logging is grayed out.  Do I need to clear the logs first?  See attached
