lotus 8.5 rules

I'm new to Lotus, and I have to setup Lotus for the users at work when they upgrade to a new laptop. I have a basic routine where I grab the database files, usually

as_username
bookmark
busytime
headline
localfeedcontent
log
names
preweb
bookmark

and then some non-database files

desktop8.ndk
username.id

but for some users, they have rules on the old laptop, but when I grab these files, the rules don't come over to the new laptop. So I have two questions, 1st, is there a file - like a config or ini type file - that has rules information, so I could just copy that file over as well, and then the user would have their rules, instead of having to re-create them.
and 2nd - are those database files necessary, or would it be more efficient to just grab one or two crucial database file, and the others aren't as necessary? or is it just best to grab all the database files, in case there is something that someone uses that is not typical, but they would have since I grab all the database files.
