windows 7 64 bit run-time error '339': component 'threed32.ocx'
I am getting the following error when trying to launch a EMR application from a Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit:
run-time error '339': component 'threed32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
I ran a SFC /scannow with no luck. Any ideas?

Those links do not seem relevant from what I have read.
threed32.ocx comes with Visual Basic 6 or even before. The most likely result here is that application is not 64-bit compliant.
If this is Windows 7 64-bit PRO then you can download XP Mode for free and install the application in XP mode. This should allow it to work.

have you tried to run:
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system\Threed32 .ocx
in a command window (run as administrator)?
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system\Threed32

Tried regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\threed 32.dll
The ocx you are referring to is really old. So then there is a high probability your application will not run in 64-bit and you need to use the workaround of a legacy machine on your Windows 7 platform. .... Thinkpads_User

I have the same application on all of my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machines and it works fine.

A clean install is all that would resolve the issue.
