Exchange 2010 certificate

I have a UCC cert installed on an Exchange 2010 server. Mail.test.com is the common name on the cert. When I user the Microsoft remote connectivity analyzer, if I specify the mail server as mail.test.com, it works fine. But, if I don't specify the server name, it fails with a SSL validation check for test.com. test.com is not on the cert.

Because of this Outlook anywhare will not automatically configue.

My question is why is active sync looking for the host name test.com instead of the one specified onthe cert (mail.test.com)?

There are several recommended entries in a UCC so that all Exchange services work. They are:
  mail.test.com
  autodiscover.test.com
  test.com

You could find more information on the web sites of the UCC providers. Here is a list of them:

Thanks,<br />I was finally able to add test.com to the ucc cert. That fixed it..
