SBS 2011 Default Security and Distribution groups are missing

Hello,

One of my client did SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 migration.

Demoted SBS 2003 and decomiissed it.

Now he found that SBS Console on SBS 2011 is not showing Users, User Roles and Groups.

This errot reported:
"The Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard Console feature is not setup correctly."

When i investigated issue, observed that Default Security and Distribution groups are missing from Active Directory.

Please advise on how to create these groups.

Run the SBS Best Practice Analyser and look for errors.

Run a dcdiag on the SBS as well.

- There are no errors in SBS BPA.

- dcdiag is clean.
Did you checked event logs ...migration document if created before / during migration

You may check below link  though it highlights the issue occures If you do not use the SBS provided way to create groups still may give any workarounds

You can repair the SBS Console by doing the below:

I would be concerned about other issues with the migration though. As Sarang_tinguria suggested, check the event logs for clues.
Any update on this one?
