Authentication between customer and Office 365 cloud through an own datacenter as 3rd party

Dear Experts Exchange,

Does Microsoft, or any other vendor, support the following possibility:

In example:

Let's say I own a company, called ITDeliver, which has an own datacenter in The Netherlands. ITDeliver implements and supports Office 365 implementations to their customers, which also settled in The Netherlands.

ITDeliver would like to handle authentication and other connection sessions between a customer (called Custa) and the Microsoft Office 365 cloud through their datacenter (just mentioned above).

Let's draw it in a simple matter:

Current situation for authentication:

CUSTA <-----------> MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 CLOUD

Custa has is own small little datacenter with a few domaincontrollers and other servers which handles the internal authentication. Also, Custa already works with Microsoft Office 365 to handle collaboration, filesharing, intanet etc.

Let me draw the desired situation for authentication:

CUSTA <-------> ITDeliver <------> MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 CLOUD

Also, ITDeliver would like to tighten the session security between Custa and ITDeliver, and if possible, between ITDeliver and the Microsoft Office 365 cloud.

Concluding question:

Is there any way to realise the desired situation I simply drawed above? What studies would you recommend? Or do I need 3rd party tooling?

Thanks in advance!

I guess this is a SharePoint Hybrid Cloud kind of situation. There's a lot of material on this floating around such as;

There are some solutions to tie in the authentication to your AD and other alternatives, but there's no vendor I can personally recommend...

Dear Jamie,

Thanks for your reply.

There are some solutions to tie in the authentication to your AD and other alternatives, but there's no vendor I can personally recommend...

Could you tell me some of those solutions?
