RDP 2008 Not working after running a System Restore

One of my clients has a PC that I connect to using RDP.  This has been working fine.  However, yesterday I needed to do a registry change for something.  so before doing the change I created a system restore point.  I realised that something wasn't working correctly today, so decided to roll back to the saved restore point.  I did that, and now I can't log back onto the remote PC.  

Someone is currently looking into it (on-site), but I just wanted to check if there was anything else that I should have done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
