How can lastname, firstname be changed to firstname, lastname in excel 2010?

Good Day Experts,

So i have a 1200 row list of Doe, John entries and need the list converted to John, Doe in MS Excel 2010.  What is the easiest way to do this?

Many Thanks,

Select the column

Data>TextToColumns (choose comma delimited)
That will put your names into 2 columns. (I'm assuming Col A and Col B)

Then in Col C put
C2=B2 & "," & B1

Copy down

Copy > Paste Special (values) in Col A
Delete Col B and C.
If the value is in A2 use this formula and copy it down.

=RIGHT(A2,FIND(" ",A2)-1)&" "&LEFT(A2,FIND(",",A2)-1)
If you want to have the comma between the names then use

=RIGHT(A2,FIND(" ",A2)-1)&", "&LEFT(A2,FIND(",",A2)-1)

Ok great just simply seperating them in two columns will provide a workaround though what exactly do  you mean by copy down?  How do i input C2=B2& "," & B1 in to column c?  and
Ok so i'm a complete noob at excel formulas,  What is "Copy Down"?

Also how do i insert that formula?
