Hyper-V: Use RAM that provides error correction

Hi.
I am using a new PC to create a test Windows Server 2012 (with Hyper-V role installed).  This PC does not have ECC RAM in it.
I don't get any errors running the OS.   I can start Virtual Machines with no problem.  When I run "Best Practices Analyzer" tje following error is listed:
The RAM in use on this computer is not error-correcting (ECC) RAM.

For this test environment, does ECC really have an impact?  Considering I get no errors while running the server, I am assuming not.

Has anyone used Hyper-V with VDI (other RD roles installed) successfully on a PC without ECC?

I have a specific question about VDI configuration that I am considering opening a support case with Microsoft -- are they just going to take my money and tell me to call back when I get ECC RAM ?

--- thanks
