This is not supported, see the following from technet
When you install the Hyper-V Role on your SBS 2008 Primary Server the DHCP Service will no longer be able to assign IP addresses to your client machines. The reason for this is that we do not support the Hyper-V role on the SBS 2008 Primary Server. The SBS wizard expects only one network adapter and binds DHCP to that network interface.  Similar problems with DHCP can be experienced if you are using 2 NICs, this is also an unsupported topology, for more information on support network topologies for SBS 2008 see http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2008/09/16/sbs-2008-supported-networking-topology.aspx.

So open a command prompt ( as admin ) and
servermanagercmd -remove hyper-v

Does that explain why the server wont allow me to access server manager, services, or the connectivity tab in Networking in the SBS console. Please tell me everything will go back to normal once removed. I am runninga chkdsk now... Its at 18 % and will be a while before I can try this remove command..  Thanks,. I'll let you know what happens.

Hyper-V breaks many network related features, DHCP, as sfossupport stated,  and the network wizards.  It also sometimes impacts RRAS, VPN, and more.  The other culprit that affects the latter and much more is disabling IPv6.  Restoring both will return the server to normal functionality except you have t restart the DHCP service.  However many folk in this broken state start "fixing" things and returning to the default configuration doesn't resolve all problems.

I had no luck running the remove command from the cmd prompt.. The screen filled with white dots... after an hour or so I gave up..
