Selenium Webdriver and Maven installation

Hello,
In reading from; http://seleniumhq.org/download/maven.html
I come across this information;
"If you're using Maven, you will find all Selenium Maven artifacts directly in the central Maven repository here: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/seleniumhq/selenium/"
I do not know how to use the drivers, API and code at this repo.

I was hoping to find the Selenium Webdriver APIs.
Could you provide some comments/suggestions/instructions as to how to use this repo?
thanks

scrutinizer, thank you for your suggestion.  My other problem is that I do not have Selenium configured.  When I looked to configure Selenium Webdriver, I find that Maven does it when installing Maven, so I need an initial setup of Maven in Eclipse.
Any other suggestion?
I use TestNG and ReportNG for running and reporting.

Setup is much easier since 2.0 came out. 1.0 (aka RC) was much more of a pain. Just take your time and walk the seleniumhq docs.

Also if you are learning Selenium you may find the IDE very helpful. You can record events in Firefox and by modifying the export settings, export them to Sel 2.0 code, but bear in mind that code will probably require some modifications to be a good test suite that is maintainable and accurate. But it will get you started quickly. Firebug's inspection of elements is your friend. :)

Avoid using XPaths when possible, especially if you are automating a site that changes often. IDs are your best bet, other locators are more likely to change.

scrutinizer, thank you for the advise.  I will go read the documents in seleniumhq.org.
I could not find the Webdriver API/jar.  Is the Webdriver installed by installing the RC API?
