asked on

email from ISP email addresses not making it through to our exchange server

hey guys,

I'm having an issue with a client. They are on shaw for an ISP and running an exchange server. For some reason other customers on shaw are not able to send them email. All other incoming email gets through but shaw addresses don't. I can't see them being blocked by the spam filters or anything. Am i crazy to think it has something to do with the actual ISPs setup ? The client of course wants answers so i'm hoping someone here may be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance.

Do you have a NDR from someone that can't send to your domain.
unfortunately i do not. I will try and get one and get back to you. I do have this from another situation with the same server.

Secureserver.net is Go a Daddy I believe, do you use G Daddy service.
no not at all.
I just noticed that the TTL is 24hrs on theirs but none of the other servers we deal with are higher than 1hr.

Sorry guys this obviously has nothing to do with the issue.
